Current status of reconstruction
January 17th, 2022
In the night of January 17th, 2022, a fire broke out in our production hall. The production facilities were completely destroyed and the building was so badly damaged that it is in danger of collapsing.
February 9th, 2022
We are currently working on a concept for setting up an emergency production facility that will enable us to galvanize strips with a maximum width of 32 mm.
February 14th, 2022
Demolition work began today in the destroyed hall. The entire technical equipment will be removed.
February 25th, 2022
The demolition work is now well advanced. They are scheduled to be completed on March 4th, 2022.
March 11th, 2022
This week the wall in the production hall, which was in danger of collapsing, was stapled and thus secured. In addition, the roof was partially removed so that only the beams are visible. Only the remaining rubble has to be removed.
March 14th, 2022
Clean-up work has begun in the hall where the emergency plant is to be put into operation. This week, the cleaning work should be finished there.
April 13th, 2022
The hall for the emergency facility has now been emptied, cleaned and the old facility has been dismantled. Now the construction of the emergency plant begins.
